No Bag Day Celebrated with Meena Manch Activities at Upper Primary School Belwa Nohar Parsapur

Gonda: Upper Primary School Belwa Nohar Parsapur observed No Bag Day with a series of engaging educational and awareness activities aimed at promoting regular school attendance, social values, environmental responsibility, and personal safety among students.

As part of the programme, a meeting of the Meena Manch was organised under the guidance of facilitator Manoj Kumar Chaturvedi. Students were divided into teams representing different hamlets, and interactive sessions were held to motivate children to attend school regularly and improve overall attendance.

The event also featured a reading session of the comic books “Aadha Full” and “Gayab Hathi,” through which students learned valuable life lessons about humility, self-confidence, and the importance of avoiding comparisons based on skin colour or physical appearance. Teachers encouraged the children to respect diversity and treat everyone with equality and kindness.

Headmaster Shrawan Kumar Singh inspired the students to participate in a “Plant a Tree in the Name of Mother” campaign, urging them to plant saplings and take responsibility for nurturing and protecting them as a tribute to their mothers and the environment.

To promote personal safety and awareness, teacher Mahesh Kumar screened self-defence videos on the school’s smart television, introducing students to basic techniques and safety practices.

The No Bag Day celebrations provided children with a refreshing break from routine classroom learning through interactive and value-based activities. Students participated enthusiastically throughout the programme, creating a lively, joyful, and engaging learning environment that encouraged creativity, confidence, and holistic development.
